Growing up minutes from one another yet never meeting, Alissa and Leslie each collected perfume in tiny boxes. They were fascinated by the jewel-like quality and transformative nature of their treasures.

Alissa, trained by the famed classical perfumery school ISIPCA in Versailles, and Leslie, a designer, artist, and self-taught perfumer, founded Liis as a creative expression using scent as medium. Drawing on personal experiences, emotions, and perspectives as inspiration, each uniquely minimalist scent composition tells a story to be interpreted by the wearer.
