The Heart of Our Brand: A Mother’s Love, A Daughter’s VisionThe inspiration for House of Iyrah is rooted in a unique and beautiful story. The founder’s mother, an anosmic from birth, has never experienced the world of scent the way most of us do. Yet, she has always loved fragrances – the way they feel, the emotions they evoke, and the memories they hold. For years, she shared this love with her daughter, despite not being able to experience it herself.

This love for scent, without the ability to experience it in the usual way, ignited a passion within Samira to create a fragrance brand that transcends mere scent. House of Iyrah is an exploration of how fragrance can be more than just a sensory experience. It’s about the feelings, memories, and stories that scents can tell, not only through what they smell like, but through what they evoke in us.
