Douglas Little - Perfumer

Douglas Little is the founder and perfumer behind Heretic Parfum, a bold fragrance house established in Los Angeles around 2015 that champions natural materials, transparency, and conceptual scent design.
Raised by a photographer mother and deeply versed in plants and scent from childhood, he once described playing a game with his mom: “If I could identify the scent of a plant, I’d earn a dollar.” That little game would become the seed of his life’s work.
Determined to challenge the norms of perfumery, Little built Heretic with an iconoclastic spirit—emphasizing raw botanicals, vegan and cruelty-free production, clear labelling, and formulations that feel more artisanal than commercial.
His creative vision is less about fitting in and more about disruption—turning scent into statement, emotion into fragrance, and the invisible into something you wear.
