Founded in Brooklyn by the husband-and-wife duo David Seth Moltz (also known as D.S.) and Kavi Ahuja Moltz (known as Durga), D.S. & Durga began with the belief that scent can open doors to unseen landscapes. David, a self-taught perfumer, translates music, literature, and memory into aromatic compositions, while Kavi, an architect by training, designs the spatial and visual narratives around each fragrance.

Their work lives at the intersection of art and fragrance: each scent is presented as a story, a place you can sense, rather than just a smell. Crafted in Brooklyn with materials and methods that reflect their indie spirit, they have grown into a celebrated niche house without sacrificing the intimacy of their origins.
