FLORAIKU Paris was founded in 2017 by Clara and John Molloy, following a formative journey to Japan that left a lasting impression on their creative vision. Immersed in a culture defined by delicacy, respect for nature, and the quiet interplay between art and daily life, the couple found inspiration in Japan’s literary and artistic traditions — particularly the haiku, where emotion and meaning are expressed with restraint and precision. This experience led them to imagine a new fragrance house, distinct yet complementary to Memo Paris, which they founded in 2007.
Drawing on their shared yet contrasting backgrounds, FLORAIKU reflects a dialogue between worlds. Clara, Paris-born and deeply rooted in literature, brings a poetic sensibility to the brand’s identity, while John, Irish by birth and a lifelong traveler with a passion for fashion and creative luxury, contributes a global perspective shaped by movement and curiosity. Together, they envisioned FLORAIKU as a meeting point between Paris — the cradle of perfumery — and Asia, the heart of refinement, creating fragrances that feel composed, intentional, and quietly expressive.
