Founded in Rome in 2013 by Michele Iannone, alongside Mariagrazia Iannone and Monica Martinez, Arte Profumi was created from a desire to approach perfume as a true artistic expression rather than a commercial product. Inspired by Italian craftsmanship, tailoring ateliers, and the emotional power of scent, the house views fragrance as “invisible art” worn directly on the skin.

The brand is especially known for its highly concentrated extrait-style compositions, often built around rich textures like incense, woods, resins, spices, and gourmand accords. Rather than chasing trends, Arte Profumi focuses on creating fragrances that feel immersive, sensual, and deeply atmospheric. Cult favorites such as Sucre Noir, Bois Sacré, and Samharam have earned the house a loyal following within the niche fragrance community for their depth, longevity, and emotional warmth.
