Founded by creative directors Darcy Moore and Diogo Soares, BELNU was born from a deeply personal journey around health, self-care, and ingredient transparency. After a cancer diagnosis and preventative surgeries led Moore to reexamine the products she used daily, she became increasingly focused on fragrance ingredients and eventually earned an aromatherapy certification during the pandemic. Together with Soares—both formerly part of the creative world surrounding Apple—they launched BELNU as a fragrance brand centered on emotional well-being, transparency, and intentional design.
Rather than positioning fragrance as purely aesthetic, BELNU approaches scent as part of a daily ritual—something capable of influencing mood, mindset, and emotional connection. Each fragrance is crafted with master perfumers using vegan, cruelty-free formulations built around essential oils, safe synthetics, and upcycled ingredients, while also disclosing full ingredient lists—something still rare in luxury fragrance.
Rather than chasing trends, BELNU creates fragrances meant to feel emotionally resonant and quietly luxurious—clean fragrances with real depth, complexity, and performance.
