Inverso Profumi

Founded in 2023 by Maurizio and Kristina Nazarevskaia, INVERSO PROFUMI began with the meeting of two creative worlds. Maurizio brings an extraordinary talent for perfumery and a deeply personal approach to fragrance composition, while Kristina, an accomplished photographer and visual artist, contributes her artistic vision and passion for storytelling. Together, they envisioned a fragrance house where scent and imagery could exist in conversation, each inspiring and enriching the other.

Rather than creating perfumes around conventional fragrance categories, INVERSO approaches each composition as an artistic experience. Several fragrances, including Private, Poesía, On Land, From Land, and Stai Ferma, draw inspiration from Kristina's photography books, translating landscapes, emotions, and captured moments into scent. Maurizio serves as the house's perfumer, developing compositions that explore texture, atmosphere, and memory while allowing each fragrance to tell its own distinctive story.

Every INVERSO fragrance is macerated and bottled by hand in New York City, reflecting the couple's dedication to craftsmanship and thoughtful production. Even the packaging is personal, with individually folded origami boxes and handwritten fragrance names. The house favors sculptural simplicity, minimal waste, and small-batch creation over elaborate presentation. At its heart, INVERSO celebrates the intimate relationship between art and fragrance, creating perfumes meant not simply to be worn, but to be experienced, remembered, and felt.
