.Oddity Fragrance was created by designers Alice Mourou, Kirill Runkov, and Nikita Shchukin, the creative minds associated with the conceptual design studio .Oddity. The idea grew from their fascination with the relationship between what we see and what we smell, and the ability of fragrance to inspire images, memories, and emotions without ever being visible. For the collective, perfume became a new artistic medium, allowing them to explore creativity beyond the boundaries of traditional graphic design.
The house collaborates with renowned perfumers Mark Buxton and David Chieze, combining their olfactory expertise with the collective's unconventional visual approach. Rather than pursuing traditional ideas of perfection or beauty, .Oddity finds inspiration in raw materials, exposed structures, unusual textures, and the overlooked details of everyday life. Fragrances such as Naked Dance, Resonant, Dead Air, and Delulu reflect this philosophy, offering compositions that feel artistic, atmospheric, and deliberately unexpected.
Perhaps the brand's most recognizable feature is its distinctive packaging. Each bottle is crowned with a handcrafted cap made from reclaimed wooden fragments suspended in epoxy resin, creating a sculptural object with its own unique shape, texture, and character. Produced in small batches with an emphasis on craftsmanship and thoughtful materials, .Oddity treats every fragrance as a collaboration between the visible and invisible arts. At its heart, the house celebrates the idea that beauty is not always found in perfection, but often in the unexpected, the unfinished, and the wonderfully unusual.
