Wabi-Sabi is an olfactive haiku meant to transport you in the depths of Kyoto, in the heart of Shōren-in Temple - the place where the idea of Dor Olfactory was born.

Not built around top, heart and base notes, but around a place: the garden outside and the silence within.

So what is Wabi-Sabi? Hardly ever described by the Japanese, Leonard Koren wrote two beautiful volumes on deciphering the aesthetic and philosophical universe of it. At Dor, we like to think of it as the beauty of impermanence.
